Introducing our newest team member, Wendy Whistle.

Did you know that departing just a few seconds late can impact thousands across the V/Line network? That is why Wendy has come up with a range of tips to help staff and customers keep on time together:

Tip 1: Ensure that your myki is topped up or you have a valid ticket to travel.

Tip 2: Be ready and waiting on the platform for your service.

Tip 3: Have your luggage with you in readiness to board.

Tip 4: Spread out along the platform and use all available train doors.

Tip 5: If you need some extra assistance, let a V/Line team member know or wait in the Boarding Assistance Zone.

Tip 6: Wait for customers to get off the train before boarding.

Tip 7: Move down the aisle of the train once you are on board.

Tip 8: If you are standing near the door, make way for others to get off the train.

Tip 9: Have your belongings ready so you can hop off quickly and safely once the train has stopped at your station.

And remember whistle blows, train goes.
