Coaches replace evening trains on the Ballarat Line

Ballarat line

Due to V/Line maintenance works, coaches replace evening trains on the Ballarat Line for the entire journey from Sunday 22 to Tuesday 24 June.

Sunday 22 June

From Southern Cross Station:
From 8.30pm until last service – coaches replace trains to Wendouree for the entire journey.

Ararat Line service change
The 9.15pm Southern Cross to Ararat train will be replaced by coaches for the entire journey.

From Ballarat/Wendouree:
From 8.00pm to last service – coaches replace trains to Southern Cross for the entire journey.

Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 June

From Southern Cross Station:
From 7.00pm to last service - coaches replace trains to Wendouree for the entire journey.

From Ballarat/Wendouree:
From 8.00pm to last service - coaches replace trains to Southern Cross for the entire journey.

Please allow an additional 40 minutes for your journey.

General Information
• There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
• No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
• Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
• In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
• Customers with accessibility needs please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
