Service changes on the Seymour and Shepparton lines

Seymour line
Due to Inland Rail works, coaches replace Seymour amd Shepparto line trains from Friday night 27 February to Monday 2 March.


Friday 27 February

From Southern Cross:
From 9.30pm to last service - coaches will replace trains from Southern Cross to Seymour.
 
From Seymour:
From 7.30pm to last service – coaches will replace trains from Seymour to Southern Cross.


Saturday 28 February to Monday 2 March

Coaches replace all trains between Southern Cross, Seymour and Shepparton.

Replacement coaches will be a mix of express and stopping all stations services. Coaches will not stop at Essendon Station.


Please note that coaches will also replace Albury Line trains for the entire journey from Saturday 28 February to Sunday 1 March. More information available here.


 
Please allow an additional 60 minutes’ travel time for your journey.

General Information  
  • •    There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
    •    No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
    •    Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
    •    In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
    •    Customers with accessibility needs please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
