Service changes on the Geelong Line

Geelong line
Due to West Tarneit Station works, there will be service changes on the Geelong Line from Saturday night 10 January to Friday 23 January.

All trains will start and end at Wyndham Vale Station. Alternative services will be in place between Wyndham Vale and Southern Cross.

Waurn Ponds, Marshall, South Geelong, Geelong, North Geelong, North Shore, Corio, Lara, Little River and Wyndham Vale stations 
 
  • 10 January

  • 17 to 18 January
  • 19 to 23 January
Train to Wyndham Vale, then bus from Wyndham Vale to Werribee, then a Metro train to and from the city.
 
To Melbourne from Tarneit Station
  • 10 January
  • 11 January
  • 12 to 16 January
  • 17 to 18 January
  • 19 to 23 January
Bus to Laverton, then a Metro train to and from the city.
To stations between Wyndham Vale and Sunshine

Stopping all stations bus between Wyndham Vale, Tarneit, Deer Park and Sunshine.

Important information when travelling at night – there are additional changes to services on most nights with coaches replacing trains between Southern Cross and Wyndham Vale or Waurn Ponds. These changes are shown in the temporary timetables.

General Information
•    There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
•    Bikes are not allowed on low-floor bus replacement services.
•    No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
•    Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
•    In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
•    Customers with accessibility needs please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
