Eastern Beach

Eastern Beach

Heritage listed, but as popular as ever, is Eastern Beach, Geelong, one of Victoria’s favourite bayside playgrounds. The 1930s 200m long ‘Promenade’ wooden swimming structure dominates the area and links seamlessly with the foreshore path up to the Geelong waterfront precinct and beyond.

Diving boards and a children’s pool feature here, along with landscaped lawns, ice-creams and bronzed life savers! Of course, the breeze off the water and views across Corio Bay are as good as anywhere.

Located conveniently near a seemingly endless list of trendy eateries, Eastern Beach is a favourite local hangout at any time of the year, as the endless stream of wedding photographers will attest!
